It is never stored. Only a reconnection token is kept, on your own install.

Install it yourself.

Mnémosyne is open source. Install it on your computer or a server, it takes about ten minutes.

  1. Get the code

    Clone the repository, then npm install. You need Node.js 20 or later.

  2. Create your bot

    In the Discord developer portal, enable User Install: the bot lives in your direct messages.

  3. Start it

    Add your token, then npm run deploy and npm start.

  4. Connect PRONOTE

    /setup in DMs: find your school, log in, you’re done.

Your data stays with you.

Mnémosyne runs at home. Your settings, your login token and PRONOTE’s last state stay in her data folder, on your install.

  1. Password never storedOnly a reconnection token is kept.
  2. No third-party serverThe bot talks to PRONOTE and Discord, nothing else.
  3. Silent first runNo flood of notifications when you install it.

PRONOTE compatibility. Mnémosyne relies on pawnote, a library that talks to PRONOTE through reverse engineering. If PRONOTE changes its protocol, you’ll have to wait for a pawnote update. And if your school uses an ENT portal, use the dedicated PRONOTE credentials it provides.
